In collaboration with the Anchorage Zine Fair organized by Tent City Press, the Northwoods Book Arts Guild will host a brief demonstration of the 3 Hole Pamphlet Stitch on Zoom. This simple but versatile binding allows for a customizable and clean finish to your zine or handmade book signatures. We will demo the Pamphlet Stitch multiple times and share ideas on how embellish your stitch to add a bit of personal flare to the finished product.
Materials needed include paper, durable thread or the equivalent, darning or large sewing needle, sharp awl, scrap wood or foam board, and accessory beads or objects for embellishing your binding.
Follow along and make your own 3 Hole Pamphlet Stitch! This glueless paper binding is a great way to assemble your zine or handmade book signatures.
