Another summer has flown past! We look forward to catching up with everyone at our next Guild meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Pioneer Park’s Blue Room. We will provide updates on the Letterpress Project, elect new board positions, plan upcoming classes, talk about our October Annual Meeting activities, exchange “Tree” books, AND make books! Please arrive early so we may begin promptly.

Do you remember seeing the Teeny Tiny Tomes in our BOOKS AS ART exhibition? They were clever, they were beautifully made, and they were charmingly small!  Come to the Guild meeting and learn how to make your very own set from Marilyn Askelin, the book artist who created the originals for the 2014 exhibition. She will lead us through making three teeny tiny origami books, each created from paper no larger than 3″ x 6″. Handouts included!

Please bring:

Scissors or X-Acto knife with cutting mat

Glue stick

Large binder clip or clothespin for clamping

Bone folder (optional)
