In this class, students will design and print holiday cards which will include carved linoleum blocks. Each student will design an image and learn how to carve the reverse image for printing. Students will set, compose, and proof type to accompany the block images. Printing and clean-up protocols will be reviewed. Students need to bring their own paper or cardstock for their cards and a lunch. Linoleum blocks, inks, and carving tools will be provided. The class will be held from 10am -4pm in the NBG studio at The Folk School Fairbanks.
