You will begin several pages of your sampler at the meeting as we talk about how to select papers for specific book-making purposes.

This workshop introduces the technique of binding a book on a frame, a practice that dates back to the Middle Ages. After looking at examples of antique books, and learning how to string the sewing frame, we will create a model book using three different techniques of sewing across the spine.
